How FluxioPay Works

FluxioPay makes it simple to save, gift, and spend smarter using digital vouchers — whether you are using it on your own or as a group.

Step 1: Create your FluxioPay account

Create an account in minutes and choose how you want to use FluxioPay:

• Individual account (for personal saving and spending), or

• Group account (for family, stokvels, colleagues, and social clubs).

Once registered, you will manage everything from your My Account area.

Step 2: Buy your FluxioPay voucher(s)

Buy a FluxioPay voucher to load value from your bank card or EFT (via PayFast).

You can create and manage multiple vouchers for different goals, for example:

• “Groceries”

• “Weddings”

• “Birthdays”

• “School Supplies”

• “Team Stokvel”

Important limits:

• You can have up to 10 vouchers

• The combined total value across all vouchers may not exceed R49,999.99

Admin fee:

A 3.95% admin fee applies to voucher purchases, so the amount credited to your voucher is the voucher value less 3.95%.

Step 3: Top up anytime

You can add value to any of your existing vouchers at any time. This makes it easy to build up funds gradually, instead of spending everything at once.

Step 4: Convert your FluxioPay voucher into StoreCards

When you are ready to spend, you can use your FluxioPay voucher balance to buy StoreCards (store gift cards) directly from your account.

You can:

• Choose the retailer you want,

• choose amounts,

• and complete the conversion using your voucher balance.

Your StoreCards are delivered within 24 hours and will be:

• emailed to you, and

• stored under your account so you can access them anytime.

Step 5: Spend or gift your StoreCards

Once you receive your StoreCard, you can:

• use it for yourself, or

• gift it to someone special.

This makes FluxioPay ideal for:

When you convert your FluxioPay voucher into a StoreCard, you may benefit from instant discounts ranging from 5% up to 20%, depending on the retailer and current offers. This means your money goes further — without needing coupons, loyalty points, or waiting for promotions.

Fluxio Exchange: Send and receive vouchers between FluxioPay users

FluxioPay also allows secure voucher-to-voucher transfers between users, using short-lived codes.

Option A: Request a voucher from someone (Request → Fulfil)

1. The receiver goes toFluxio Exchange → Request Voucher

2. They enter the amount and reference

3. FluxioPay generates a secure 10-character code (valid for 24 hours)

4. They send that code to the person who will pay

5. The sender goes to Fluxio Exchange → Fulfil Request, enters the code, confirms the amount, selects which voucher to send from, and completes the transfer

6. The sender’s voucher decreases, and the receiver’s voucher increases instantly

Option B: Send a voucher to someone (Create → Receive)

1. The sender goes toFluxio Exchange → Create Voucher

2. They enter the amount, reference, and select which voucher to send from

3. FluxioPay generates a secure 10-character code (valid for 24 hours)

4. The sender shares the code with the receiver

5. The receiver goes to Fluxio Exchange → Receive Voucher, enters the code, selects which voucher to receive into, and submits

6. The balances adjust instantly, and both parties get confirmation

Exchange Rules (for security and fairness)

To keep Exchange safe and compliant:

• A single Exchange transaction may not exceed R5,000

• Codes expire after 24 hours

• Transactions only succeed if the sender has enough balance

• Each Exchange transaction includes a 0.5% Exchange fee, deducted from the sender’s selected voucher

• All activity is recorded in Exchange History for transparency and tracking

 

Fluxio Exchange allows FluxioPay users to transfer voucher value between one another in a secure and controlled way.

This feature is designed to help users settle value for goods or services already agreed between themselves, using FluxioPay vouchers as the medium of exchange.

How Exchange is typically used

Important clarification

Fluxio Exchange:

• doesnot replace cash or banking services,

• doesnot represent money transfers,

• doesnot enable withdrawals or cash-out.

Instead, it facilitates the movement of voucher value between FluxioPay users, strictly within the platform, and only where sufficient voucher balance exists.

Every Exchange transaction:

• requires confirmation by both parties,

• is limited in value for safety,

• is logged in Exchange History,

• includes clear references for record-keeping.
